Front-End React Developer

NICE WISE is seeking a motivated, hands-on Front-End Developer to join the NICE WISE technology team. Developers are responsible for building, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting clean, web standards compliant code.

What you’ll do

• Develop web applications with a focus on front-end
• Use Sketch, Figma, or Photoshop files as design references
• Directly collaborate with designers
• Work with a team that loves learning and teaching

What we’d like to see

• 5+ years experience in front-end web development
• Comfortable working in a distributed team environment
• Expert knowledge of front-end architecture, React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web standards
• Passion for pixel-perfect front-end is a must
• Experience translating comps and wireframes into semantically correct HTML
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people
• Strong time management and problem solving capabilities
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Loves logic and problem solving
• Possesses working knowledge of developing for accessibility
• Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles and translating into fluid and responsive templates
• Strong working knowledge of developing cross platform/browser compatibility (IE/Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.) for dynamic web applications
• Ability to implement SEO best practices
• Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1 and WAI-ARIA
• Experience with using source/version control software to collaborate with fellow team members

Nice to have

• AWS, Azure, or Firebase experience
• Experience with project management tools like GitLab, Jira, and Azure DevOps
• Database experience with NoSQL and SQL
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
• SVG Animation
